The Shallow Utility Consortium employs a Designated Party to coordinate, administer, and project manage its Joint Provisioning (4 Party) projects in URD and Multi-family Subdivisions in the City of Calgary.  As the Shallow Utility Consortium delivers a high volume of quality services, the Consortium and its members continue to engage its service providers and industry partners for consistent delivery and improvements.

As part of this continuous engagement, the Shallow Utility Consortium will be seeking Requests for Information, as an expression of interest for a third-party entity, to perform the role of the Consortium’s Designated Representative.  The Designated Representative acts as an agent for the Shallow Utilities Consortium and is generally responsible for URD program oversight and administration on behalf of the Consortium’s Participating Parties. The role is project managing and administering the Underground Shallow Utilities Workflow (USW) and related processes, which generally involves the overall program and project coordination, project delivery, construction management, survey, civil inspection, and administration of the deliverables that relate to URD Subdivision Development Projects and Residential Multi-Family Development Projects.
