| Subject: | New! Guide to a Complete Application for Commercial, Multi-Family Alterations: D & E Occupancies Building Permit Applications |
The City of Calgary, Business and Building Safety Approvals have published a new Guide to a Complete Application that is available for use when preparing to submit a building permit application for Commercial, Multi-Family Alterations: D & E Occupancies. (D occupancy is for business and personal services and an E occupancy is for mercantile businesses, like retail stores).
The Guide to a Complete Application is detailed and identifies the most important requirements of the building code for the building permit type. This will assist in submitting a complete application and reducing the time it takes to receive approval for a building permit.
