In the inaugural edition of our “Good News” section, we’re thrilled to highlight SkyFire Energy’s impactful initiative, ‘Power Your Purpose.’

At SkyFire Energy, the commitment to community and environmental responsibility is not just a principle but a vibrant reality. The ‘Power Your Purpose’ initiative is a prime illustration of this commitment, born from the core values that define SkyFire Energy’s ethos. This initiative opens its doors to public nominations for deserving not-for-profit organizations, providing them with the chance to receive a solar array—designed and installed by SkyFire Energy—at no cost.

Adding to the impact of ‘Power Your Purpose’ this year, SkyFire Energy expresses gratitude for the generous donation of materials by one of their partners, SolarEdge. Stacy Haakonson, VP RevOps at SkyFire Energy, appreciates this support, stating, “This year, some materials have been donated by one of our generous partners, SolarEdge, and we are thankful for their contribution and support of this initiative. We will continue to work towards improving our communities and partnering with organizations that do the same.”

As the company continues prioritizing community and people, this “Good News” story serves as a testament to their ongoing commitment. SkyFire Energy looks forward to the continued journey of empowering communities together, creating a brighter and more sustainable future.

This year, the impact of ‘Power Your Purpose’ extends to Little Warriors: Be Brave Ranch in Edmonton, AB, scheduled for installation in December 2023. In the past, organizations like the Naramata Seniors Centre in Naramata, BC, and the Randy O’Dell Wellspring in Calgary, AB, have experienced the positive effects of this initiative.

In the spirit of community empowerment, SkyFire Energy recognizes that the funds raised by these organizations could serve a more impactful purpose than covering energy costs. The company is motivated to empower them through the donation of solar systems, redirecting financial resources towards their core missions. This approach, SkyFire Energy believes, is a more meaningful way to give back to those who depend on their support and services.
