Subject:	For Your Information: City of Calgary Permit System

BILD Calgary Region received the following message from the City of Calgary Planning & Development Services on Thursday, May 21, 2026:

The City of Calgary did a system upgrade over the long weekend that has created some issues with ePermits, trade permits and commercial building permits. They are working to correct the situation, however this is currently affecting everything from issuing permit placards, issuing permits, applicant access to Vista and booking inspections and occupancy documents. City staff appreciate your patience while they work through this issue.

Please share this with your colleagues / industry network and reach out to your file managers and/or Customer Advisory Services by calling 403-268-5311 for any concerns.
