Subject: ENMAX Power Open House – URD
On September 19, 2022, ENMAX Power, in conjunction with BILD Calgary Region, hosted an Open House to discuss transformer supply challenges facing the Underground Residential Development (URD) Industry. The Open House was well attended with over 100 attendees participating in a collaborative discussion of the near-term and long-term mitigation opportunities. As noted in the bulletin, Enmax has agreed to pursue alternative options to alleviate the transformer supply issue while the industry works with project managers on prioritization.
Enmax is further committed to a further update by October 7, 2022.
