| Subject: | Draft Connect: Calgary’s Parks Plan |
The City has released the Draft Connect: Calgary’s Parks Plan for review. This plan will replace the original Open Space Plan approved by Council in 2002 and will guide the management, development, and redevelopment of Calgary’s parks over the next 20 years.
BILD is working with the City to host industry workshops in the coming weeks to gather your feedback on the draft plan. We encourage you to share your initial thoughts and comments as this will help us to plan efficient and focused workshops for members. Please provide your feedback on the attached spreadsheet located here and send it to Sarah.Champagne@bildcr.com by the end of day on October 21.
The workshop dates are as follows:
- October 22, 11:00 – 12:30 p.m.: Chapters 1 to 3
- October 23, 9:00 – 10:30 a.m.: Chapter 4
- October 28, 10:30 – 12:00 p.m.: Chapters 5, 6, and 7
