2026 Community Grant Applications are now open! All applications are due before February 28 – 2026

The BILDCR Foundation is excited to announce the return of the Community Grant Program for the 2026 calendar year. The Foundation will be accepting grant applications from $5,000 –  $125,000.

The BILD Calgary Region Foundation strives to aid the communities in which members of BILD Calgary Region (BILDCR) live and work with a grant to support capital projects that improve the community:  

• Initiatives of local organizations to support the well-being of their residents and build community.
• Shelter related initiatives that support at-risk populations, children, seniors, mental health , and families in crisis  

Criteria

• Not for profit 
• Capital project 
• Creates space to bring the community together in a positive way 
• Creates or improves shelter or a physical structure that supports community and/or at-risk residents 

BILD Calgary Region Foundation reserves the right to request more information in order to assess an organization’s suitability.
