Launch of the Clean Energy Improvement Program (CEIP) in Calgary
The City of Calgary received an unexpected volume of applications in the first two days of the CEIP launch. The nearly 240 applicants in the queue have estimated their financing needs at over $7 million.
The City is temporarily pausing intake of new CEIP pre-qualifications to ensure they can effectively process the large number of applications received so far, avoid long wait times and ultimately deliver a better experience for Calgarians who are using this program. The City intends to reopen for new pre-qualifications once the initial applications are processed.
