| Subject: | City of Calgary Seeks Industry Feedback on Draft EV Requirements |
The City of Calgary has released updated recommendations for electric vehicle (EV) requirements in the draft Zoning Bylaw. These updates reflect feedback received from industry during previous workshops.
The Climate & Environment business unit has incorporated input from EV sessions held in June and September 2025 into the updated recommendations, while balancing them against other technical and policy considerations.
The City wants to hear from our members on these updated recommendations.
Please take a moment to review the proposed changes:
- Summary of proposed EV requirement changes – explains the concepts but does not include the final Zoning Bylaw language.
- Review the current draft Zoning Bylaw on the City of Calgary Zoning Bylaw webpage for previous recommended EV requirements.
