| Subject: | City of Calgary CAD As-Built Block Profiles – Updated Requirements Now Apply Retroactively |
Two additional changes are coming to the CAD As-Built Block Profile submission and purchase.
Earlier this year, as-built block profiles submission requirements for construction drawings for Development Agreements were updated, whereby file formats in .TIFF and .PDF are now required, while supplying a .DWG version is optional. While this change initially applied only to new projects initiated on January 1, 2023 or later, the success of this program has allowed us to apply these requirements retroactively.
This means that all as-built block profile submissions attached to Development Agreements executed in 2023 and those executed in earlier years require file formats in .TIFF and .PDF, but .DWG is optional.
Secondly, due to the above changes, CAD format As-built block profiles are no longer available for purchase. However, .TIFF format Block profiles will still be available through the CityOnline website.
Both the above changes above are effective immediately.
