In accordance with BILD Calgary Region bylaws, the reconstituted Board of Directors named at last month’s Annual General Meeting has appointed the final three members at their July board meeting.
Joining the 2019-2020 BILD Calgary Region Board of Directors are Bob Faktor (Vice President, Land Development, Calgary – Anthem United); Shameer Gaidhar (President and CEO – Millenium Plus Homes); and Jay German (Vice President, Land Development – Ronmor Holdings Inc.). These members join Melanie Gowans (Manager, Media Sales – Postmedia) as the four appointed members of the board.
At the BILD Calgary Region Annual General Meeting in June, the BILD Calgary Region Board of Directors election results were revealed by incoming Chair Collin Campbell (Senior Vice President of Operations, Alberta – Mattamy Homes).
Elected to the Board were:

- Michael Cundy, Sales Manager – Regal Building Materials Ltd.
- Mike Foster, General Manager/Director – Rob’s Drywall Services Ltd.
- Brett Friesen, VP Community Development – Hopewell Residential Management
- Wendy Going, GM – Calgary Division/Managing Partner Timber Tech Truss Inc.
- Jill Huber, Senior Project Manager, Development – Calgary Municipal Land Corporation
- Elaine McKee Doel, President – McKee Homes Ltd.
- Sean Nolan, President & CEO – Excel Homes
- Kathy Oberg, Managing Partner – B&A Planning Group
- Jane Power, Senior Planner/Principal – Urban Systems Ltd.
- James Robertson, President & CEO – West Campus Development Trust
- Oliver Trutina, Vice President – Truman Homes
- Shane Wenzel, President – Shane Homes
- Mark Wynker, VP Community Development – Stantec Consulting Ltd.
Additionally, outgoing Chair Paul Boskovich (President, Alberta – Genstar Development Company) stays on as Past Chair while Robert Homersham (Senior Council – Stikeman Elliott LLP) returns as Speaker.
