Subject:Area Structure Plan workplan meeting; Follow-up & Next Steps

The City of Calgary would like to thank everyone who attended the January 16, 2025, Area Structure Plan (ASP) Workplan meeting.

As shared during the meeting, the City has provided further details regarding the evaluation process for Standalone ASPs, Pilot – Major Amendments, and Pilot – Expansion opportunities as part of the ASP component of the 2025-2026 City Planning Policy work plan.

Please find the submission document here, which outlines the required information and evaluation criteria. The City has requested that submission materials remain brief and focused to facilitate the review process.

It is important to note that all ASP work will be developer funded, following the developer funded model. Specific details will be determined once the work plan determinations are completed.
