Advocating for Industry: BILDCR Home is Here Strategy Letter – May 6/2026
BILD Calgary Region wrote a letter in support of updating the City of Calgary’s ‘Home is Here’ Housing Strategy ahead of the Community Development Committee meeting on May 6, 2026. As the plan reaches its mid-point, BILD urged the City to seize this opportunity to realign priorities with Calgary’s evolving housing landscape — including supply pressures, affordability challenges, and shifting market conditions.
A streamlined and refreshed plan is expected to be brought back in Q3 2026. BILD will continue to engage throughout this process to ensure the voices of Calgary’s building industry are reflected in the updated strategy.
