Important notice for BILD CR members to avoid unnecessary delays in the building permit process. The 2023 National Building Code – Alberta Edition is the current code edition in force in Alberta and must be referenced on all building permit submissions received on or after May 1, 2024 (as per the City of Calgary Building Advisory B23-001 dated January 29, 2024). Any submissions with incorrect references will need to be revised, potentially incurring unnecessary delays in the process.
