Over $75,000 raised for BILD Calgary Region Foundation

Over 300 BILD Calgary Region members and special guests gathered together to golf for a good cause. The BILD Calgary Region Foundation Charity Golf Tournament was once again a huge success. The tournament raised over $75 thousand for the Foundation’s charity of choice. Held at the beautiful Priddis Greens, attendees saw good weather and had a blast golfing with friends and colleagues.

This year the money raised will go to the Alpha House, Women’s Harm Reduction Facility, as part of the RESOLVE Campaign. The Alpha House delivers safe, affordable, and permanent housing for women recovering from addiction. The Women’s Harm Reduction Facility will help get these women off the streets and into a safe, stable home where they can recover from their pain and begin to rebuild their lives. A priority for this project is protecting the women’s cultural identity, so Alpha House has conducted focus groups to determine the best model and practices for this building.

BILD Calgary Region is truly appreciative of the spirit of giving of our members and we thank you for your continued support. A huge thank you goes out to all of the Tournament’s sponsors and supporters.

Congratulations to this year’s golf winners: Carolina Oxtoby, Heritage Pointe Properties, won low net; Paul Taylor, Hopewell Residential, won low gross.
